• Lakeview Jasmine, Family; Rutaceae • also called the Orange Jasmine, Mock Orange or Orange Jessamie • this is a very popular shrub that is a member of the orange family • the foliage is glossy green and regularly produces clusters of strongly scented white flowers which are followed by red fruit • these plants can be shaped into a tree form or just left to grow as a tropical shrub • they need plenty of light to produce their heavenly scented flowers, but will grow in partial shade • they can grow several feet tall if left outside in warm climates • in colder climates they should be brought inside during winter - if kept in good light they will bloom inside.
